Circular Arts Network (CAN)
CAN homepage
The Circular Arts Network (CAN), launched in 2020, is a circular economy tool for the arts, created by and for Scotland’s arts sector. The online platform redistributes spare, used or surplus materials, enables the exchange of skills / labour and coordination of transport. In doing so, CAN reduces waste and offers pathways for individuals, companies and organisations to reclaim or find resources for their arts projects / productions and support their local arts community. The service’s offer is simple: people can add listings of what they have to offer, whether free to or paid for by the recipient, and people can search listings to find something they want and deal directly with the giver about collection and if necessary payment.
