Doko Recyclers

Doko Recyclers is a social enterprise that collects recyclable waste from corporate, educational, institutions, and households while promoting a culture of recycling and sustainability.  Doko wants to help reduce the amount of organic waste reaching landfills as it produces methane gas which is more potent than carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas. We want to provide communities with an in-house composting solution – terracotta composters made from traditional pottery craft. By employing local potters, the terracotta pot combines craft and local material to create a product that helps divert organic waste from the landfills, curtailing methane production.
