Mhendo Play // Bhawana Tulachan
Bhawana Tulachan is an illustrator and designer based in Kathmandu, Nepal, working on children’s books and contents. Her passion lies in creating and designing products inspired by Nepali culture and crafts. Through her works, Bhawana aims to advocate sustainability and eco- friendly practices to young people from early age.
For this program, her idea is to design and produce toys for children that make use of local Nepali craftsmanship with sustainable and creative approach. This is also an opportunity to collaborate with indigenous artisans to create beautiful and functional products that pay homage to our local roots.
